Apple box mod Vape in Bristol: the cheap shortlist
Apple in Bristol: 14 units tested over 4 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Where buyers go wrong with apple in Bristol
Apple in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.4 per 10 ml.
The short version: apple in Bristol works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a apple box mod really costs in Bristol
There is no single best way to buy Vape in Bristol. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested apple in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a apple bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where apple goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why apple tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £3.4 per 10 ml liquid plus £67 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On apple the budget price and the premium price can sit within £3.4 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should apple start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
