Blackcurrant squonk mod Vape in Bristol: the best shortlist
Blackcurrant in Bristol: 20 units tested over 6 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How to tell a good squonk mod from a repack
Blackcurrant in Bristol reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
A blackcurrant squonk mod from the best options in Bristol costs about £3.34 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a blackcurrant squonk mod really costs in Bristol
Blackcurrant prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.34 per 10 ml.
How we tested blackcurrant in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why blackcurrant tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is blackcurrant legal to sell in the UK?
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
How long does blackcurrant in a squonk mod last?
In Bristol we measured 6 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does blackcurrant taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
