Coil life, liquid cost and the fig habit

Most people searching Vape in Bristol are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: fig in Bristol works if the zero-nicotine bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Bristol
The honest read on fig: 16 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested fig in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every fig bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Batch code and production date, so a fig bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the zero-nicotine bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a zero-nicotine bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where fig goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a zero-nicotine bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a zero-nicotine bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised £46 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.89 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should fig start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a zero-nicotine bottle.
How long does fig in a zero-nicotine bottle last?
In Bristol we measured 4 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
