Frozen RDA Vape in Bristol: the review shortlist
Frozen in Bristol: 16 units tested over 6 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How to tell a good RDA from a repack
Frozen sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Frozen RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 16 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: frozen in Bristol works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a frozen RDA really costs in Bristol
We run frozen the same way in Bristol: same RDA, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested frozen in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a frozen bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long frozen in Bristol survives.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for frozen in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should frozen start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On frozen the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.29 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
