Grapey box mod Vape in Bristol: the review shortlist
Grapey in Bristol: 14 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Ordering Vape to Bristol: the practical version
We run grapey the same way in Bristol: same box mod, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Grapey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.32 per 10 ml.
The short version: grapey in Bristol works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a grapey box mod really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at grapey in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested grapey in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long grapey in Bristol survives.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Not automatically. On grapey the budget price and the premium price can sit within £3.32 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should grapey start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
