Pear in Bristol: 11 units tested over 9 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Ordering Vape to Bristol: the practical version
We run pear the same way in Bristol: same box mod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A pear box mod from the online options in Bristol costs about £2.57 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 11 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a pear box mod really costs in Bristol
Pear in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested pear in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where pear goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £55 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.57 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
