Pear in Bristol: 14 units tested over 6 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Ordering Vape to Bristol: the practical version
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.56 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at pear in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the nicotine salt bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear nicotine salt bottle really costs in Bristol
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a nicotine salt bottle running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested pear in a nicotine salt bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where pear goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised £66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.56 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a nicotine salt bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a nicotine salt bottle.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
How much does a nicotine salt bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £3.56 per 10 ml liquid plus £66 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
