Pear pen device Vape in Bristol: the flat shortlist
Pear in Bristol: 13 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How to tell a good pen device from a repack
The honest read on pear: 13 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
A pear pen device from the flat-rate options in Bristol costs about £2.8 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear pen device really costs in Bristol
Pear in Bristol reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested pear in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where pear goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.8 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
