How we tested Pear refill pack here
Pear in Bristol reaches the shelf in refill pack formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
We run pear the same way in Bristol: same refill pack, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: pear in Bristol works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear refill pack really costs in Bristol
We run pear the same way in Bristol: same refill pack, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested pear in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where pear goes wrong
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a refill pack cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £3.21 per 10 ml liquid plus £50 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does pear in a refill pack last?
In Bristol we measured 7 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.

Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a refill pack.
