Grapey squonk mod Vape in Bristol: the online shortlist
Grapey in Bristol: 21 units tested over 8 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the grapey habit
We run grapey the same way in Bristol: same squonk mod, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The honest read on grapey: 21 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long grapey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a grapey squonk mod really costs in Bristol
Grapey in Bristol reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested grapey in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why grapey tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does grapey in a squonk mod last?
In Bristol we measured 8 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On grapey the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.99 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
